Converting a Direct TV Dish into a Wifi Dish

Converting a Direct TV Dish into a Wifi Dish antenna will yield a high db gain "directional signal". With a modded or hacked wrt54g-tm router, and DD-WRT firmware, a wireless range extender with adjustable power can be had for cheap money.

The wrt54g router in this video can be replaced by the wrt54g-tm " T-MOBILE " for added memory support of larger third party firmwares. Converting Direct dish antenna projects like this can be fun and educational. This wifi dish may be better suited as a wireless repeater, than a AP "access point due to the degraded signal on the " back side of the dish.
